Job Description: **Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain core components of a Layer‑1 blockchain platform and associated Agent Passport system that enable autonomous AI agents to transact securely. Contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, from architecture to production, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving, remote‑friendly environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code on schedule. - Solve complex technical problems across domains such as distributed systems, machine learning, and compilers. - Work effectively in small, collaborative teams, communicating clearly and mentoring peers. - Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies relevant to blockchain and AI. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, implement, and optimize blockchain consensus, networking, and storage layers. - Build and integrate the Agent Passport identity and governance framework. - Develop APIs, SDKs, and tooling for AI agents and external developers. - Write automated tests, perform code reviews, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines. - Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues in production. - Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to product roadmap. **Required Skills:** - Expert proficiency in one or more systems languages (e.g., Go, Rust, C++, Java). - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture. - Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, networking, or blockchain protocols. - Familiarity with machine‑learning pipelines or compiler design is a plus. - Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough testing. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with remote collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Cloud, DevOps, Blockchain) are optional but valued.
