Job Description
**Job Title:** Robotics Control Intern **Role Summary:** Support the design, development, and testing of low‑level and high‑level control systems for humanoid robots. Work within a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary team to create real‑time locomotion, manipulation, and whole‑body coordination algorithms, contributing directly to the core intelligence of physical AI platforms. **Expectations:** - Deliver functional control code and prototypes on schedule. - Collaborate effectively with mechanical, AI, and perception engineers. - Conduct hands‑on hardware experiments, analyze results, and iterate improvements. - Exhibit ownership, creativity, and rapid problem‑solving in a startup environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and tune control algorithms for robot locomotion, manipulation, and whole‑body tasks. - Implement real‑time control loops in Python, C++, and/or Rust. - Integrate perception and planning modules with control systems. - Run hardware experiments, debug complex behaviors, and document performance metrics. - Contribute to cross‑functional design reviews and technical documentation. **Required Skills:** - Strong foundation in control theory, dynamics, and numerical methods. - Experience with robot locomotion, manipulation, trajectory optimization, or whole‑body control. - Proficiency in Python; solid programming skills in C++ and/or Rust. - Ability to work with real‑time systems and hardware testing. - Strong analytical and debugging capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. - No specific certifications required; academic credentials and relevant project experience suffice.
