Job Description
CTE is a manufacturer of precision fabricated, welded, machined and Insulated components. We supply these components predominantly into the motorsport and automotive sectors. Our products include exhaust systems, radiators and associated pipework and charge coolers. Almost any metallic component on a race car.
In our Aylesbury based premises, we employ approximately 50 staff in a wide variety of roles.

Job Title: Production Planner
Reporting to: Production Manager
Working hours: 4 Day Week 7.00am – 5.30pm
Salary: Dependant on experience

Description of Duties:
Plan production workflow for multiple resources centres and ‘feed in’ processes simultaneously.
Implement, plan, monitor and co-ordinate all departments to ensure full alignment with the plan.
Understand and appreciate dynamic nature of business and customer demands. React accordingly, continually adjusting plan and workflows. Communicate the changes efficiently to all stakeholders, endeavouring to maximise efficiency and capacities.
Plan all production operations to ensure maximum efficiency within CTE using a live production plan.
Liaise with Stores to ensure timely delivery of components & materials to ensure the production plan is adhered to.
Determine and assign resource requirements to satisfy production demand.
Communicate and collaborate with all departments to ensure production flow is uninterrupted and reaches dispatch as planned.
Alert key personnel of any supply or production delays. Work to minimise any possible delays.
Monitor and actively maintain production planning spreadsheets daily.
Identify, investigate, suggest, and implement improvements in the production planning process.
Support the Production Manager with all reasonable requests.

Personal Attributes:
Proven track record and knowledge gained as a Production Planner
Experience of an MRP system
Working knowledge of MS office suite including spreadsheet experience
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail
Good mental agility, able to effectively work on several levels simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure
Work as part of a team or individually
