Job Description: Job Title: Data Engineer Role Summary: Act as the primary liaison among finance, data, and IT. Own and maintain finance‑related systems, ensuring seamless data flow, accurate integrations, and reliable reporting across the organization. Expatacations: Assume full responsibility for the integrity, security, and documentation of finance data assets while collaborating closely with finance controllers, IT architects, and business stakeholders to meet reporting and analytical needs. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all finance software and data systems. • Lead post‑acquisition data migration and system alignment activities. • Partner with finance and IT on ERP implementation and continuous enhancement. • Design, orchestrate, and validate data flows between disparate systems. • Conduct data mapping, transformation, and quality checks during integrations. • Identify and automate finance processes through improved data connectivity. • Enforce data governance standards and maintain up‑to‑date documentation. • Deliver training and support on system functionality and data best practices. Required Skills: • Deep understanding of financial processes and ERP platforms. • Proven expertise in system integration, data modeling, and financial data structures. • Strong SQL (or equivalent) database proficiency. • Analytical problem‑solving and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Excellent cross‑functional communication and collaboration. • Multilingual: fluent in Dutch, French, and English (additional German, Spanish, or Italian a plus). Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field. • Minimum 5 years experience in finance data engineering or systems integration. • Relevant certifications in data engineering, ERP, or database technologies preferred but not mandatory.
