Job title: Energy Systems Analyst Role Summary: Provide analytical support for the development of data-driven global energy solutions, focusing on upstream energy datasets and emerging transition technologies. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, validated datasets; enable data‑driven insights for product development; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; maintain data integrity and security across internal and client databases. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct targeted research and data collection on global energy assets, companies, and sectors. - Manage and update the Global Energy Database in Microsoft Dataverse and SQL/Azure environments. - Perform quality‑control checks and secure data flows between staging and production databases. - Support data scientists in analysis, interpretation, and extraction of key insights. - Provide feedback on data research, storage, and security practices. - Participate in Innovation Engineering projects and collaborate with product owners and technical management. Required Skills: - Proficiency in data research, data cleaning, and quality assurance. - Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and Azure. - Programming knowledge in Python and Jupyter Notebooks. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Self‑starter with ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Geology, or a related discipline. - Fluency in English.
