Are you an experienced Senior CAD / BIM Designer looking for a dynamic and challenging freelance role? My client is a leading civil engineering contractor, delivering some of the UKs most significant infrastructure projects. As a Freelance Senior CAD / BIM Designer, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, producing high:quality 2D drawings and 3D models that support the successful design and construction of complex infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities

x1F539; CAD and BIM Model Development : Produce and manage detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for large:scale civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

x1F539; Multi:Disciplinary Coordination : Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure designs align with project objectives and industry standards.

x1F539; Highways, Structures, and Water Sector Design : Support the development of bridges, tunnels, highways, drainage systems, and water treatment facilities, applying sector:specific knowledge.

x1F539; BIM Compliance and Digital Engineering : Ensure all work aligns with BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 requirements, contributing to federated models, clash detection, and data:rich digital workflows.

x1F539; Automation and Efficiency : Assist in the development of automation, parametric design, and digital workflows to enhance productivity and improve project outcomes.

x1F539; Quality Control and Compliance : Maintain adherence to industry best practices, ensuring designs are efficient, sustainable, and compliant with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Skills And Experience Required

x2705; Extensive Experience in Civil Infrastructure : Proven background working on highways, structures, or water sector projects in a CAD / BIM design capacity.

x2705; Technical Expertise : Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, InfraWorks, and other BIM:related software. Experience with Dynamo, scripting, or automation tools is an advantage.

x2705; Strong Understanding of BIM and Digital Engineering : Experience working within BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 environments, including model coordination and clash detection.

x2705; Attention to Detail and Problem:Solving Skills : Ability to analyse complex design challenges and propose innovative solutions.

x2705; Collaborative and Proactive Approach : Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Our client is a healthcare software development company that build and deliver market leading applications. They have high ambitions and are looking to bring in highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to help continue their adoption of Azure:native services and building a best:of:breed scalable SaaS platform for their solutions.

The Azure Cloud Architect will need to have 5+ years enterprise experience with Azure, who can demonstrate a real passion for cloud technologies, with strong problem solving and critical thinking, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.

The Role

Working within the Architecture team collaboratively with other members of the DevOps/Cloud governance group, the Azure Cloud Architect will have an influence and diverse workload covering (but not limited to):

Design and develop prototype Infrastructure, that aligns with industry best practices such as the Azure Well:Architected Framework, to prove concepts and provide documentation/guidance for production implementations.

Design scalable, highly:available and secure solutions that fit product functional requirements.

Work closely with others, such as Development or Platform teams, to agree concepts/solutions that fulfil complex requirements yet remain achievable.

Work closely with the Security teams to design secure solutions from the get:go and assist with validating designs against best practices.

Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and advising on how they could be used to better the existing architecture (this will likely include completing a PoC).

Manual machining : milling, turning, grinding, use of lathes

The ROLE

Field Service Engineer is a key role within the business which is responsible for on:site repairs and breakdowns of electric/manual pallet trucks, stackers and order pickers. Ensuring customer care levels are of the highest standards and the department runs efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
Preventative Maintenance.
Managing repair parts.
Filling out customer service logs and internal service records.
Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.

Basically the successful Field Service Engineer visits clients sites to repair/maintain their range of material handling products.

The CANDIDATE
