First Mining is a Canadian gold developer focused on the development of the Springpole Gold Project in northwestern Ontario and the Duparquet Gold Project in Quebec, two of the largest gold projects in Canada. First Mining has commenced a Feasibility Study at Springpole where permitting activities are on-going with a draft Environmental Impact Statement ("EIS") for the project published in June 2022. First Mining also owns the Duparquet Gold Project, a PEA stage development project located on the Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone in the prolific Abitibi region in Quebec. The Company is the largest shareholder of Treasury Metals who are advancing the Goliath Gold Complex in Ontario. First Mining also has active partnerships with operators advancing other Canadian projects including the Pickle Crow Gold Project (with FireFly Metals) and Hope Brook Gold Project (with Big Ridge Gold). In addition, First Mining also owns the Cameron Gold Project in Ontario.

First Mining was established in 2015 by Mr. Keith Neumeyer, founding President and CEO of First Majestic Silver Corp.

Job Description
Job Title: Project Geologist Role Summary: Lead geoscience activities for exploration at the Duparquet Gold Project, overseeing field operations, drill hole management, and data integration to advance gold target development. Expectations: * Demonstrate initiative and continuous learning in geoscience and exploration techniques. * Adhere to safety standards and support a culture of safe field practice. * Travel and work remotely as required, operating in diverse environments (boat, UTV, snowmobile, helicopter). * Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary, cross‑cultural team. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, conduct, and document field activities including diamond core logging, surface mapping, and geophysical/geochemical sampling. * Prepare drill‑hole layouts, log cores, manage hole shutdowns, and evaluate drill performance against exploration objectives. * Inspect and maintain drill sites in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations. * Compile and standardize historical and current exploration data to enhance data integrity and resolution. * Develop and refine regional and target‑scale 3‑D geoscience models supporting exploration decisions. * Contribute to the review and update of exploration policies, procedures, and best practices. * Support site supervisors with daily reports, site inductions, and other project‑related tasks. Required Skills: * Field geology and mapping, core logging, drill‑hole management, data compilation, and quality assurance. * Proficiency in safety‑critical field operations and remote work logistics. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Excellent verbal and written communication in English (French a plus). Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences (or related field). * Eligibility for registration with l’Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) as a GIT/PGeo. * Valid driver’s licence.
