**Job Title**: Founding Engineer **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end engineering of an AI‑powered recruitment screening platform. Own product design, implementation, and scaling across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure, with direct impact on users and revenue. **Expectations** - Full ownership of the product lifecycle from concept to production. - High agency: solve problems without waiting for documentation or approvals. - Deliver functional, high‑quality code on schedule. - Own feature prioritization, architecture decisions, and technical debt. - Build in a startup environment, contributing to equity and growth. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement real‑time voice interview system (FastAPI, WebSockets, low‑latency LLM orchestration). - Develop candidate scoring pipelines that transform audio into structured metrics. - Create two‑way integrations with Applicant Tracking Systems. - Build recruiter dashboards (React/Next.js) for workflow, analytics, and reporting. - Architect agentic framework enabling client‑customizable AI screening workflows and voice personalities. - Manage cloud deployment (Azure Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB), CI/CD, monitoring, and scaling to tens of thousands of concurrent sessions. - Maintain code quality, testing, documentation, and continuous delivery pipelines. **Required Skills** - Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI, WebSockets, async). - Frontend proficiency in React/Next.js. - Cloud infrastructure: Azure (Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB) or equivalent; CI/CD, monitoring, and scaling practices. - Familiarity with LLM orchestration, NLP, and speech/voice processing. - Real‑time streaming architecture knowledge. - Proven track record of shipping complete products solo or as primary builder. - Product instinct: user research, feature prioritization, data‑driven decisions. - Self‑starter mentality, able to work independently in ambiguous situations. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant cloud or AI/ML certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
