Job Description
**Job Title**: R&D Engineer – MCX Systems **Role Summary**: Develop and deploy next-generation MCX (Mission-Critical Communication) and FRMCS (Future Rail Mobile Communication) software solutions for railways, public safety, and critical infrastructure, focusing on cross-platform applications and core communication systems. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to design, implement, and validate reliable, scalable, and secure communication technologies. **Expectations**: - Master’s or PhD in Science with Informatics focus. Related disciplines (Physics, Mathematics) acceptable with informatics background. - Proficiency in Unix-based environments and Git. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for processing complex technical systems. - Experience in compiled (C++, Rust) and interpreted (Python) programming languages. - Familiarity with software development lifecycles and cross-platform application development. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, develop, and test software components across MCX and FRMCS product lines (client applications, server solutions). - Implement, debug, and optimize code in C++, Rust, and Python for mission-critical systems. - Participate in full-cycle development: architecture, design, testing, deployment. - Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and future-proof software. - Utilize Unix/Linux tools, CMake, and Git for build systems and version control. **Required Skills**: - Advanced coding proficiency in C++ and Python.
