Job Description
**Job Title** Sustainable Design (Architecture) Summer Internship 2026 **Role Summary** One‑month full‑time summer internship (June 1 – July 31 2026) supporting sustainable architecture research and performance‑driven design. Intern will assist with environmental analysis, digital modelling, and sustainable material investigations within an interdisciplinary design studio. **Expectations** - Highly motivated, self‑starter with an analytical mindset. - Strong interest in environmental design, performance‑led concepts, and digital tools. - Effective communicator; able to present research and findings clearly. - Collaborative team player willing to take initiative beyond assigned tasks. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform environmental analyses (solar, daylight, wind, weather data, thermal comfort, energy modeling). - Conduct passive design and concept validation studies. - Create and update 3D models and parametric scripts using Rhino, Revit, and Grasshopper. - Research sustainable materials, maintain material databases, and support material selection. - Prepare visualisations, reports, and presentation decks for internal reviews. - Contribute to interdisciplinary design discussions and documentation of findings. **Required Skills** - CAD/3D modelling: Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper (or comparable). - Basic computational design and environmental analysis tools. - Data interpretation and performance simulation (energy, daylight, thermal). - Strong design sensibility and visual communication. - Team collaboration, proactive problem‑solving, and clear written/oral communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Design, Environmental Design (Architecture), Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. - Demonstrated strong academic performance; portfolio showcasing relevant academic or project work. - No specific certifications required; coursework or experience in performance simulation, parametric design, or sustainable material research is a plus.
