Job Description

**Job title** Back-End Java Developer / Spring Boot **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services for a fast‑growth e‑commerce platform. Work across checkout and account modules in a micro‑services architecture, delivering reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that support high transaction volumes. **Expectations** - Deliver quality code in a modern Java 21 environment. - Adopt an Agile/Safe methodology with strong collaboration across Product, QA, Design, and other squads. - Demonstrate autonomy, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement. - Leverage AI coding assistants (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) to increase productivity. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement robust backend services in Java Spring Boot. - Participate in BUILD activities: new feature development, refactors, and system enhancements. - Contribute to RUN tasks: incident analysis, support, and process optimization. - Author and review technical user stories and acceptance criteria. - Ensure performance, security, and reliability of e‑commerce customer journeys. - Attend daily stand‑ups, refinement sessions, and sprint reviews as part of Agile rituals. **Required Skills** - Strong experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot. - Familiarity with micro‑services, Java 21, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. - Proven track record in high‑volume e‑commerce environments. - Comfortable working across multiple squads and in SAFe organizations. - Sound Agile practices knowledge and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills. - Optional: enthusiasm for “Vibe Coding” and daily use of AI coding tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
