**Job Title:** Product Designer (Mid‑level) **Role Summary:** Design and deliver intuitive, data‑rich expense management experiences across web and mobile. Own the full design cycle for a squad (e.g., Expense, Cards, Compliance, Automation & AI, or Mobile), ensuring seamless integration with front‑end engineering and alignment with the company’s design system. **Expectations:** * Deliver high‑quality UX/UI solutions that balance employee freedom with finance controls. * Collaborate cross‑functionally to iterate quickly, validate with users, and hand off polished designs to engineering. * Contribute to the evolving design system, adopting new tools and sharing insights. * Maintain a user‑centric, data‑driven mindset while embracing product‑first thinking in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Own end‑to‑end design for a specified squad: discovery, user flows, prototypes, UI, and handoff. 2. Create efficient, intuitive flows for employee spend, real‑time guardrails, automated compliance, and analytics. 3. Partner with PMs, engineers, and fellow designers to define problems, generate solutions, and deliver cohesive experiences. 4. Build interactive prototypes (Figma, code) to communicate concepts and validate designs. 5. Conduct or support user research, usability tests, and translate findings into design improvements. 6. Work with front‑end engineers to ensure feasibility, performance, and accessibility of designs. 7. Maintain and extend the design system’s components, patterns, and tokens across web & mobile. **Required Skills:** * 3–6 years as a Product Designer on B2B SaaS or complex transactional platforms. * Strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, interaction design, and visual polish in workflow‑heavy or data‑dense interfaces. * Proficient in Figma and modern prototyping tools; experience contributing to or managing a design system. * Solid understanding of front‑end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, responsive layout, component‑based UI; basic JavaScript or mobile UI patterns). * Ability to prototype in code when needed. * Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills in a squad‑based setting. * Collaborative, curious, and capable of thriving in a fast‑growing environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
