Business Analyst - Contract - Toronto
This project will be helping a large client modernise a legacy application from Cobol to Java. This has a big Data focus and you will be a key part of this team. If this sounds like something you enjoy and you have the technical know how to match, please read below!
The Job
As a Business Analyst in this project, you will play a key role in a large scale modernisation project. You will work with a cross functional team and have influence across the whole project.
Key Responsibilities:
Analaysing and validating requirements
Data Analysis and Modelling
Stakeholder management
Creation of User Stories
Technical Documentation
About you
You will be a Business Analyst with a strong technical background, comfortable with large scale applications and not phased by legacy tech being modernised. With strong communication skills you will have attention to detail and a keen eye on process improvements. If you have some of the following experience you will be a great match:
Any experience on projects where you ate modernising legacy tech (e.g Cobol to Java)
Enterprise experience
Strong Data Focus
MongoDB experience
Rate and Duration
CA$ 75/hr
3 month initial duration with high likelihood to extend to 1 yr.
Location
Canada - Ideally Toronto
