Location: Gloucester (Hybrid and flexible working options available)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to PS62,000

Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for SC Clearance

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing team supporting the UK's National Security sector. As a Software Engineer, you'll work on innovative projects that have a real-world impact, developing secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Key Skills & Expertise:

* Experience designing, coding, testing, and documenting software solutions

* Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages: Java (Preferred), Python, Node.js, C++ or C

* Exposure to AWS, Docker, Microservices, and cloud-based development (desirable but not essential)

* Ability to analyse and resolve code defects, providing timely fixes

* Understanding of data processing techniques and large-scale system integration

* Experience estimating development effort and contributing to planning discussions

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices

* Willingness to mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge
