Role: Quality Engineer
Location: Paris
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: 1 Year rolling

General

Supporting all aspects of Quality across the breadth of the project organization.
Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
Support the effective planning of quality across the full scope of services under the project.
Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across the contractor organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc).
Supporting the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required.
Supporting effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services.
Participate in mark up of inspection test plans.
Liaise with Discipline Engineers regarding inspection / expediting activities.
Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
Fully committed to Project ethical values and to achieve Project expectations and goals, which shall include a proactive approach with other project department to achieve these goals.

Qualification and knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001.
Auditing qualification required.
Proficient in Quality processes and Quality data analysis.
Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Root cause analysis experience.
QC Engineer experience required.
Working knowledge of EPC activities.
High Level of communication skills in both written and spoken format (English).
Fully conversant with Microsoft programmes.

General duties description

Quality Engineer shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of all Quality matters.
Participate in contractor audits, agree findings and actions, monitor and agree actions to successful closure.
Review and analyse contractor KPI's, highlighting concerns, investigating deficiencies and create action to drive improvement.
Approve additions to supplier PSL as per approval procedure.
Ensure timely and effective closure of non-conformance.
Participate in root cause analysis.
Participate in lessons learned and drive performance improvement.
Liaise with Engineering team for ITP review, FAT attendance, related issues/ concerns.
