Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for cloud-based applications using Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using AngularJS, Ext JS, jQuery, and AJAX
Optimize database queries and work with Hibernate, Oracle, and other persistence frameworks to ensure efficient data access
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices for object-oriented design and secure coding
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, development, testing, and deployment
Contribute to DevOps pipelines using tools like Docker, Maven, Gradle, Git Actions, and JUnit
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability through monitoring tools like New Relic, ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana
Work in Agile environments (Scrum) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions
Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training
7+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly in designing and implementing large-scale applications
Proven expertise in:
Core Java, Spring Boot, J2EE (JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC)
REST/SOAP services
Cloud environments (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
Database technologies and ORM (e.g., Hibernate, Oracle)
Frontend frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Ext JS)
DevOps and build tools (e.g., Docker, Maven, Gradle, Git Actions)
Linux/Unix shell scripting
