As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. Hatch is seeking an HR Co-op Student with interest in Human Resources for a 4-month internship starting in January 2026. Reporting to the HR Service Centre Lead, you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga Head office.

As a Successful Candidate, You Will
Support with various HR generalist activities including new hire file creation, new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, HR program and process review.
Participate in the creation of reports and maintain databases
Assist with day-to-day employee requests
Maintain data in HR Information System
Support payroll administration duties on an as needed basis
Other administrative duties as assigned
You Bring To The Role
2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year student enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business or similar program, or a diploma specializing in Human Resources
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
Strong presentation and public speaking skills an asset
Strong MS Office skills with advanced skill in MS Excel
Familiarity with SuccessFactors and/or SAP an asset
Competencies (knowledge, Skill, Attributes)
Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges
Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation
Adapts and embraces change
