Context

As Financial Risk Manager at DPAM, you'll identify, assess, and manage a broad range of financial and non-financial risks impacting our portfolios. You'll contribute to building a strong risk-aware culture, focusing on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) risks. You'll also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure risk is effectively integrated across our investment processes.

Your position

Monitor and assess market, credit, liquidity, operational, and ESG-related risks across investment portfolios.
Contribute to developing risk mitigation strategies and ensure risks are appropriately managed within established limits.
Collaborate with investment teams and ESG specialists to integrate sustainability risks into the broader risk management framework.
Provide clear, timely risk reporting to senior management and relevant committees.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including frameworks such as SFDR and the EU Taxonomy.
Work cross-functionally with portfolio managers, analysts, compliance, and operations teams to promote a shared understanding of risk.
Support the evolution of risk analytics and reporting capabilities through data and technology.

Your profile

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in financial risk management, ideally within asset management.
Solid understanding of financial instruments and markets; familiarity with ESG risks is a strong asset.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate risk insights into clear, actionable messages.
Experience with risk systems and tools; exposure to ESG data providers is a plus.
Willingness to learn Python (prior experience is an advantage but not required).
Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CAIA are considered assets.
You speak fluent English, knowledge of French/Dutch is a plus.
