Position Title: SailPoint lead/architect
Location: Remote
We are seeking a highly skilled SailPoint Expert to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) and/or Identity Now (IDN), with proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise identity solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, solution design, and hands-on implementation skills to support complex business and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration
Lead the design, development, and deployment of SailPoint IIQ/IDN solutions.
Configure connectors, workflows, lifecycle events, and rules to support provisioning and de-provisioning.
Develop and maintain identity governance processes including access requests, certifications, and role management.
Integration & Development
Build and customize SailPoint connectors to integrate with enterprise applications (AD, LDAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Azure AD, O365, databases, etc.).
Develop custom workflows, rules, tasks, and reports within SailPoint.
Support REST API and SCIM integrations with third-party applications.
Operations & Support
Provide Level 3/SME support for identity-related incidents and requests.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
Monitor and maintain SailPoint system health, logs, and error resolution.
Governance & Compliance
Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege access models.
Support access certification campaigns, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance reporting.
Partner with security and audit teams to ensure regulatory and policy alignment.
Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, HR, cloud, and application owners).
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices to junior team members.
Contribute to IAM roadmap and strategy development.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
7+ years of experience in IAM, with 5+ years in SailPoint Identity IQ / Identity Now.
Strong expertise in Java, Beanshell scripting, XML, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with connectors (LDAP, AD, DB, HRMS, O365, Cloud, REST APIs).
Deep knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access requests, role management, and certification processes.
Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and compliance-driven IAM.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with ability to work independently.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
