We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Saint Louis, MO. Responsibilities
System Reliability & Performance
Ensure the availability, latency, performance, and capacity of banking applications and infrastructure.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues.
Lead capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives.
DevOps & Automation
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related tools.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into the software development lifecycle.
Monitoring & Incident Response
Implement and manage observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Set up proactive alerting and dashboards to detect and resolve issues before they impact customers.
Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Cloud Infrastructure
Manage and optimize cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and PCF.
Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Banking Domain Expertise
Apply deep understanding of banking systems, card payment processing, and financial transaction flows.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS and internal security policies.
Work closely with business stakeholders to align technology reliability with financial service goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Banking or financial services experience is required, with a strong understanding of card payment systems.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, PCF.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps.
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
Familiarity with ITIL, SRE best practices, and incident management frameworks.
Experience working in regulated environments with a focus on security and compliance.
