As part of our continuous growth in France, we are looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team.
As an Industrial Automation Engineer at Tata Technologies, you will be responsible for executing robotics-related projects and providing technical support to project managers and customers in production environments.
This role combines project management support with deep technical expertise in robotic systems integration (e.g., AGVs, manipulators, mobile platforms). You will contribute to scalable and standardized deployment strategies across diverse production environments, ensuring compliance with digital and manufacturing constraints.
Responsibilities:
Project Management Support (PMO): Assist customer teams with project planning, milestone tracking, and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate coordination between robotics, manufacturing Engineering, IT, Quality and Safety teams for seamless robotic integration.
Requirements Analysis: Evaluate product functions and requirements versus production line constraints, including digital ecosystem compatibility.
Standardization & Scalability: Identify and define reusable or customizable robotic functions across product variants.
Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on robotics, automation, safety, and quality to ensure robust integration.
Failure Mode Analysis: Support anticipation or root cause analysis/technical investigations of robotic system failures.
Corrective Actions: support the definition of action plans to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders and production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of integration procedures, test reports, and technical findings.
International Collaboration: Work effectively within a global, multicultural project team.
Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
Proven experience in robotic system integration within manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong understanding of automation technologies, control systems, systems engineering, and production workflows
Proficiency in CAD tools, PLC programming, and robotic simulation software
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Familiarity with documentation and quality standards
Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices
