Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design, build, and optimize multi-channel marketing solutions that deliver personalized customer experiences at scale. In this role, you will be hands-on in developing, integrating, and automating campaigns across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, while serving as a trusted technical partner to marketing, CRM, and data teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement end-to-end marketing solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Automation Studio.
Build scalable data extensions, contact models, and segmentation strategies to support complex campaign requirements.
Write and optimize AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, and HTML/CSS for advanced personalization, dynamic content, and scripting within emails and journeys.
Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Core (Sales/Service Cloud) and external data platforms via APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and ETL tools.
Configure automation workflows, triggered sends, and API-based interactions for real-time customer engagement.
Ensure marketing solutions align with best practices, deliverability standards, and compliance requirements (GDPR/CCPA).
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
Support QA, performance tuning, and ongoing optimization of global marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in marketing technology solutions, with at least 2+ years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
Strong expertise in AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML/CSS.
Hands-on experience with data modeling, subscriber management, and segmentation within SFMC.
Proven background integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems.
Deep understanding of marketing automation, campaign measurement, and data privacy regulations.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Developer, Consultant) required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Interaction Studio (Personalization), CDP, or Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
Exposure to distributed marketing, multi-brand, or multi-region implementations.
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven personalization, A/B testing, and advanced optimization techniques.
Active contributions to the Salesforce community or martech thought leadership.
