Location: Gateshead

Salary: PS25,000 - PS32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

An established and forward-thinking organisation is looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join its team. The role will involve providing high-quality technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of technology services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, covering hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with minimal disruption to business operations.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
Assist with network management and troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
Create and maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and solutions.
Support onboarding and provide user training on IT systems and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Experience with network administration and familiarity with cloud-based services (Azure, AWS).
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)are advantageous.
