We're expanding our newly formed Redesign AI team to help small to mid-sized businesses adopt AI engine technologies.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be responsible for assisting our Product Development team with the creation of a new orchestration platform to run AI engine workloads on a common data core. Additionally, you'll help deploy and optimize models for a variety of internal and external use cases across every business domain.

Role Overview: As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, you'll deploy and optimize AI models that power our new orchestration platform's core features, from recommendation engines to LLM-driven interactions. You'll focus on productionizing models with high-standard software engineering practices, ensuring scalability and low-latency performance in our stack including PyTorch/Hugging Face, Qdrant, Golang, Airflow, and HashiStack Nomad.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, deploy, and maintain ML models for recommendation engines and vector search for product similarity matching.
Integrate and fine-tune open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral etc) for chat experiences and reasoning tasks, such as generating personalized product comparisons or query responses.
Develop MLOps pipelines for model training, inference, monitoring, and retraining, using tools like MLflow and integrating with Airflow for data workflows.
Write high-quality, maintainable code in Python and Golang, adhering to software best practices including testing, documentation, and integration with backend services via APIs.
Optimize models for web and mobile eCommerce scale, ensuring efficient inference on edge devices or cloud, and collaborate with Data Engineers on data pipelines.
Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to iterate on AI features, focusing on metrics like user engagement and conversion rates.
Ensure ethical AI deployment, including bias mitigation in recommendations and privacy in user data handling.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience as an ML Engineer, with expertise in deploying AI models in production environments.
Strong software development skills, including Python, Golang, and frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face; proficiency in clean code, Git, and DevOps practices.
Experience with vector databases (e.g., Qdrant), MLOps tools, and orchestration (e.g., Nomad, Airflow).
Knowledge of NLP and LLMs for tasks like chat and reasoning.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Ability to thrive in an office-based team in Le Marais, Paris, with strong communication skills in English and French.
Nice-to-Haves:
Background in eCommerce or content/media based recommendation systems.
Experience with React Native integrations for mobile AI features.
Open-source contributions in ML or LLM projects.
