About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer and Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for the development, customization, administration, and cross-system integrations of our Salesforce sales cloud platform. The ideal candidate has strong technical and problem-solving skills and is able translate high-level business requirements into technical specifications. The successful candidate considers end-to-end business implications and eectively communicates and collaborates with end-users in all solutions.
Salary Range: $85,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain the Salesforce sales cloud platform to support business processes and requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process automation, and data integrations
Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment and improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation
Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce users, addressing technical issues and user inquiries
Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other business systems
Conduct proactive quality assurance and enhancement analysis to maximize Salesforce potential, including implementing best practices into processes, logic, and data flows
Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve the platform's capabilities
Requirements
5+ years combined experience as a Salesforce Developer and Administrator, with a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
Solid business acumen and communication with ability to translate high-level business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels to deliver solutions with end-to-end business implications and end-users considered
Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards and reports
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with SalesForce Lightning components and architecture
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Administrator; Salesforce Certified Platform Developer)
NICE TO HAVES
Knowledge of data management and data integration techniques with experience integrating Salesforce with marketing platforms, data warehouses, and custom business applications
Proactively act as an owner and collaborate with a sense of urgency to move initiatives forward with transparency and clear communication
Resilient and not easily put off by setbacks
Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript
Experience using modern project management tools (e.g. Jira)
