Network Deployment Engineer
Hybrid (3 days a week required in London Office)
Inside ir35/12 months
Solid industry experience in networking environment to build new network environment, prepare, document and deploy changes in a network, understand the issues related to day to day operations, troubleshoot network issues with a network Sniffer like Wireshark, liaison with carriers and vendors for installations;
Good networking technology skills along with a good understanding of cross platform technologies
Understanding of Firewalls, network security concepts and Proxy Servers
Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable)
Very good knowledge of L2 loop prevention protocols such as spanning-tree
Good technical knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.
Detailed technical knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, Spanning Tree etc. and is able to troubleshoot them
Detailed technical knowledge of Cisco operating systems such as IOS and NX-OS and is able to troubleshoot them
Good experience with network monitoring/management tools/analysis tools
Service management expertise and ability to manage, improve service levels
Good analytical skills to evaluate problem
Good communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written/verbal)
Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a Matrix organization
