Network Security Engineer Level 3
Hybrid (3 days a week required in London Office)
Inside ir35/12 months
Solid industry experience in networking environment with an emphasis on Network Security accountable to implement Firewall change requests and any potential related L2/L3 Router changes; create and install Checkpoint objects for initial Firewall policy; build and configure Firewall devices (Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco); build and configure Proxies and IDS; provide troubleshooting in security environment,fault escalation and connectivity issue and liaison with carriers and vendors for installations
Experience with Linux/UNIX;
Networking technology skills along with a good understanding of cross platform technologies;
Certified security engineer (typically CCSE or comparable);
Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable);
Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols;
Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like
EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP including NAT;
Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of IOS/operating systems and CatOS;
Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of trunking protocols - VTP, 8021.Q etc.;
Full understanding of Firewalls & different deployment architecture;
Good understanding of ITIL and service management principals;
Good ability to follow and documented deployment processes;
Strong experience with change request management systems;
Strong experience with network monitoring/management tools/analysis tools;
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate problem;
Good communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written/verbal)
Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a Matrix organization"
