Infrastructure Engineer - 4 to 6 week contract - London - Inside IR35
Here at Lucid we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our customer's team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in VMware, Networking, storage, and server support. The role will involve supporting the infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability, and implementing and maintaining server and storage solutions. Responsibilities
Provide 3rd line support for server and storage infrastructure, resolving complex issues and incidents.
Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization technologies.
Monitor and optimize storage and server performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with the networking team to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
Work closely with vendors to evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve the infrastructure.
Participate in capacity planning, ensuring scalability and efficiency of server and storage environments.
Contribute to documentation and training to support knowledge transfer and skill development.
Participating in capacity planning and infrastructure design discussions.
