About Digitail

Digitail is on a mission to transform the veterinary profession with smart, customer-driven technology. We're building the all-in-one operating system for animal hospitals - simplifying everything from client communication and patient care to scheduling and billing. Having just closed a Series B fundraise, we're entering an exciting new chapter of growth and innovation.

We're seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us scale our team and attract world-class talent as we grow. This is a key role at the heart of our expansion, ensuring we hire the right people in the right roles at the right time. If you love building relationships, designing great candidate experiences, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll own and drive the full-cycle recruiting process - from sourcing and outreach, to interviews and closing. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand team needs, craft compelling job descriptions, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate journey.

This role is both strategic and hands-on - you'll enhance scalable hiring processes and also roll up your sleeves to source candidates, manage pipelines, and guide them through to offer acceptance. A successful person in this role will help us move from reactive hiring to a proactive, predictable, and delightful recruiting engine.

Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own and manage hiring processes end-to-end, from job scoping and posting to sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong pipelines through proactive outreach, creative sourcing strategies, and nurturing relationships with passive candidates.
Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate has a positive and professional experience that reflects Digitail's culture and values.
Hiring Manager Partnership: Work closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, align on processes, and make smart, data-driven hiring decisions.
Process & Systems: Improve and scale recruiting workflows, documentation, and tools (ATS, sourcing platforms, referrals, etc.) to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and leadership to amplify Digitail's employer brand, highlighting our mission, values, and team culture.

About You

2-4 years of recruiting experience: you've worked in-house or at an agency, ideally hiring for startups or SaaS companies.
Strong communicator: you're confident in writing compelling outreach messages, leading interviews, and aligning with leadership on hiring priorities.
Relationship-builder: you connect easily with candidates and hiring managers, building trust quickly through transparency and consistency.
Organized & detail-oriented: you can manage multiple postings at once, keep pipelines moving, and ensure candidates don't slip through the cracks.
Tool experience: you're comfortable with ATS platforms and sourcing tools - and can learn new systems quickly.
Problem solver: you know how to get creative when pipelines run dry and how to adapt when hiring needs shift.
Ownership mindset: you don't just run processes - you improve them. You spot bottlenecks, propose fixes, and make them happen.

Why Join Digitail

Growth: Join a fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS startup improving the lives of veterinarians and pet parents.
Impact: you'll have the autonomy to take initiative, drive meaningful change, and grow by doing - without layers of bureaucracy slowing you down.
Compensation: competitive salary and equity package, flexible to your preferences (i.e., optimize for PTO, salary, or equity).
Hybrid Work: we've transitioned from fully-remote to a hybrid model, giving team members the chance to collaborate in-person at least three days a week from one of our hubs: Toronto, London, or Iasi & Bucharest.

Compensation & Benefits
