We are looking for a Principal Security Architect for one of our public sector clients.

Rate: up to £799 per day
Duration: 24 months
Inside IR35
Location: tbd
Travel: Flexible
Clearance: Active SC Clearance is required

Ideally the Successful candidate will have commercial experience in the following...

Advising technical teams and suppliers on cyber security decisions, help them design and implement effective controls and mitigations for their particular risks. You get involved and embedded in projects and products early, helping teams undertake activities, and advising them on appropriate and pragmatic security to enable business outcomes.
Recommend security design across several projects or technologies, up to an organisational or inter-organisational level
Apply and maintain specific security controls as required by organisational policy to maintain appropriate security of business systems.
Provide expert advice and guidance on the application and operation of basic physical, procedural, and technical security controls.

Skills
You have strong knowledge of system architectures. You can understand and articulate the impact of vulnerabilities on existing and future designs, systems and how easy or difficult it will be to exploit these vulnerabilities. You are recognised as an expert by peers in the broader security industry.
You can contribute to and inform developments on security properties in technology. You can identify new technologies and design the use of these in the business context across the organisation. You can engage with the broader security community.
You understand security implications of transformation. You can challenge and lead changes to policy and processes to support business outcomes, business architecture, and legal and political implications.
