My client, an Edinburgh based tech for good start-up, are hiring for a Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. They're open to someone who is more frontend or backend focused, too.
This company leverages satellite data to monitor and combat climate change, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful solutions.
We are looking for a mid-level engineer with experience in Python or JavaScript, ideally fullstack but they are happy to consider a backend or frontend engineer.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain cloud-hosted applications, contributing to the front- and backend
Develop and maintain company and project websites
Contribute to company wide code reviews
Skills Required:
Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript
CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with large codebases
Not essential but preferable: NoSQL, Docker, Linux
