Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office each week. The post is initially for 8 weeks, until end of March 2025
This is a short term offer for an experienced Power Bi analyst within the Children's Servies Performance team with a particular focus on Education and Skills.
In this role you will design, model and deliver analytics and insight via Power Bi which you are able to use to its fullest potential. You will ensure the product meets customer needs, is easy to access with intuitive navigation and is readily used once launched. You will also support the development of the wider team's reporting capabilities utilising software packages such (SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS & SSRS), Power BI, Azure and Microsoft Office products.
Key accountabilities & requirements
Design, model and deliver analytics and insight via Power Bi that will shape the future direction of the organisation.
Ensure products meet customer need, are readily used, easily understood with intuitive navigation
Support the development of the team's reporting capabilities utilising software packages such (SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS & SSRS), Power BI, Azure and Microsoft
Office products.
Knowledge of software packages mentioned above is essential, and knowledge of additional data visualisation tools will be advantageous.

The chosen developer will need to support the development and maintenance of the existing TM1 models, as well as use their expertise to devise novel solutions for new TM1 frameworks. This role will work within P&MM and collaborate with the wider business ensuring s/4 data design meets business requirements, aligns to SAP standards and can be used with confidence throughout future processes. Key requirements: Strong experience and expertise in Procurement and Materials Management (P&MM) Solid understanding of business data requirements and the ability to break down complex data concepts to business data users.
