Location: Hybrid (2/3 days on site in Croydon or London)
Role Overview:
As a SC Cleared Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Data Engineering team, working on cutting-edge projects in the public sector. This is an Outside IR35 contract with a rolling nature, providing stability and opportunities for long-term engagement.
Main Responsibilities:
AWS/Azure/GCP Expertise: Leverage your proficiency in working with various cloud services and tools to design, implement, and manage data solutions.
Security Clearance: Maintain and utilize your SC Clearance, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.
Programming Skills: Apply your strong programming skills in Python or SQL for data analysis, manipulation, and transformation.
Streaming Technologies: Utilize your experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka Streaming or Apache Flink to process and analyze Real Time data.

- Data Migration Lead Duration: 14 month contract Job Purpose: Lead the migration to the new AWS data platform, providing both technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise. As the QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of the application and underlying infrastructure (including data pipelines and ML infrastructure) by developing and executing comprehensive test tooling/infrastructure, plans, and test cases. Main Accountabilities: Collaborate with the product owner and development team to understand and feed into product requirements, features, and compliance needs in respect to quality. Develop, in collaboration with the product team and other stakeholders (e.g. compliance, equality, risk), detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategy, plans, and test cases ensuring compliance and quality.
