We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with a strong skills in SQL and DAX to join a supply chain programme of work. Our client requires a highly skilled contractor to play a pivotal role in developing, optimising, and scaling data-driven dashboards that power critical business decisions.
Location: Remote with possible occasional onsite collaboration in Manchester
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: 400-450 (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Outside IR35Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards tailored to supply chain needs.
Translate complex business requirements into efficient data models and insightful visualisations.
Write and optimise complex SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Apply advanced DAX functions to deliver accurate, dynamic, and scalable reporting solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, analysts, and IT.
Ensure solutions are robust, performant, and aligned with best practices in data governance.Required Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in Power BI development with a strong focus on dashboard design.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimisation, joins, stored procedures).
Deep knowledge of DAX for creating sophisticated measures and calculations.
Experience working with large datasets and complex supply chain data structures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
FMCG or supply chain domain experience is desirable.
