Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our new network infrastructure project. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, deploying and managing all aspects of our network systems and ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, SDWAN, OOB Network and Wireless Network.
Configure wireless, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security based on client network standard.
Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
Perform network deployment, maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
Troubleshoot network problems and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create, update, and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
Provide network performance statistics and reports.
Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Wireless, SilverPeak, etc.).
Deep understanding of networking protocols (eg, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
Familiarity with access control models and network security.
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (eg, SolarWinds, Cacti).
Strong knowledge of network hardware (Cisco Wired and Wireless devices, SilverPeak, OpenGear ).
CCNP or higher (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is a must.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware)
