Job Title: Data Analyst Business Coach
Location: Remote, UK (4 days a year in London office)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for a Data Analyst Business Coach to join the amazing Apprenticeships team at Just IT! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation making a difference to young people in the community.
You will be responsible for the support and development of apprentices through the Apprenticeship Standards, tracking their progression through the apprenticeship journey. You will work alongside the employer to develop the plans for how and when the on-programme and end-point assessments will be delivered and assess the apprentices progress towards the development of their knowledge, skills, and behaviours. This role will entail predominantly one to one coaching with apprentices.
Main Responsibilities
• Review the contents of the standard with the employer and apprentice, planning the projects and tasks that will be needed for the apprentice to meet the standard in full, and engage with the employer and apprentice on setting new targets and refining the project plans as the apprenticeship progresses.
• Motivate and encourage learning and development in your learners, providing good levels of feedback for the summative portfolio which meets Ofsted standards.
• Plan and deliver microteach sessions to help consolidate and fill any knowledge gaps the learner may have, embedding Maths & English Functional Skills into the coaching sessions.
• Prepare the apprentice for their end-point assessment by asking regular appropriate questions that build on the skills as the apprentice progresses and observing demonstrations on the apprentices’ practical skills.
• Record and report on activity via Aptem, our E-portfolio system, completing and distributing coaching reports and formal reviews as required.
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience in a data related role is essential as well as direct experience of supporting and coaching learners within Apprenticeships.
• Relevant qualifications relating to data, ideally at a degree level, as well as knowledge of SQL, Python or R.
• Highly motivated, persuasive, persistent, and patient, with strong communication and motivational skills.
