Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing
Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing supports the DTC Marketing team, in the execution and optimization of performance marketing campaigns.
The Senior Specialists' focus is to deliver the highest performance for Samsung.com (including B2B and SMB channels) while working with key internal SECA stakeholders and external agency partners.
The role is responsible for supporting the digital acquisition, conversion, and retention strategy for Samsung's .COM and Shop App) by executing performance-driven campaigns across paid media, search, social, affiliates, and re-marketing channels to drive online sales, customer growth, and ROAS. Reporting to the Manager, you optimize the end-to-end user journey and performance across the funnel.
The Senior Specialist supports innovative, end-to-end marketing approaches to drive traffic to .COM, executing across media and various affiliate marketing channels and new initiatives such as live commerce and influencer marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution and Optimization
Assist in the planning, implementation, and optimization of paid media campaigns across digital channels (e.g., search, social, display, programmatic)
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilize advanced analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel) to track and measure campaign performance against KPIs.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Continuously monitor and optimize affiliate program performance, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing innovative solutions to improve campaign results.
Collaboration and Support
Support the Senior Manager in developing and executing comprehensive performance marketing strategies.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements in campaign execution and optimization, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance efficiency.
Program Support:
Execute comprehensive strategies for affiliate marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and maximizing ROI
Work closely with DTC and divisional marketing teams to ensure affiliate strategies are integrated and aligned with broader business objectives
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to keep all stakeholders informed of affiliate program developments and achievements
Plan and manage media budgets effectively across acquisition and re-marketing campaigns
Conduct A/B testing across campaigns and digital assets to evaluate performance variables and optimize content, targeting, and user experience
Coordinate Live Commerce activities related to DTC from agency/influencer hosts management, including execution of promotional codes, video delivery to merchandising team, and reporting
Operations Support:
Monitor and analyze campaign results to identify key learnings and opportunities, providing structured performance reports and post-campaign reviews
Act as a regular point of contact for agency partners, participating actively in weekly calls and manage follow-up communications effectively
Evaluate media proposals, creatives, and campaign results from Affiliate partners
Collaborate with Content Manager on all campaigns and creative execution to ensure integration across all touchpoints and on-time delivery of all assets. Integrates performance marketing plan into the holistic 52-week calendar
Ensure compliance with budgetary requirements and optimize funding allocation for maximum efficiency.
Develop partnership with HQ counterparts to support quarterly planning process for incremental budgetary support.
Requirements:
Knowledge:
Proficient in marketing fundamentals, with particular focus on performance marketing, including full funnel capabilities across paid media and Affiliate program managements
Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and understanding compliance considerations
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, campaign reporting tools and performance platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, etc.) and marketing dashboards
Good understanding of creative and copy design principles, to be able to direct development and provide ongoing recommendations and feedback for improvement to the creative agency
Proactive, collaborative and communicative team player with strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills
