My client, a global consulting firm, are looking for a Gen AI Lead to join their AI Practice in London.
As a Gen AI Lead, you will drive the development of innovative AI-powered applications, ensuring their smooth integration, high performance, and continuous advancement. This role combines hands-on technical involvement with strategic leadership, helping guide your team in building and scaling cutting-edge GenAI solutions. Your expertise in both backend and frontend systems, SaaS integrations, and AI/ML optimization will be essential as you empower your team to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Core Responsibilities:
Champion Chapter Growth:
Lead the development and deepening of expertise in full-stack software engineering, particularly in GenAI and LLM technologies, while ensuring alignment with the broader IT strategy.
Keep the team ahead of the curve by staying informed about the latest advancements in GenAI frameworks, LLM approaches, and scalable system architecture.
Build expertise in both frontend (React, Typescript) and backend (Python, Java) technologies, and become highly skilled in cloud infrastructure (AWS) and container management (Kubernetes/EKS).
Foster Team Development:
Mentor and guide Chapter members, helping them expand their knowledge in full-stack application development, LLM integration, and cloud-native architecture.
Offer tailored training and learning opportunities to ensure your team stays prepared for the rapidly changing tech landscape.
Work with the Tech Area Lead to set clear development goals and nurture a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
Promote Knowledge Sharing:
Ensure Chapter members’ work aligns with the overall technical strategy and roadmaps, driving efficiency and innovation.
Share relevant industry insights and technical knowledge with other Chapters, helping the organization stay at the forefront of technological developments.
Resource and Talent Management:
Collaborate with Product Owners, Tribe Leads, and Tech Area Leads to ensure that each Squad has the right mix of technical expertise and resources.
Actively identify gaps in knowledge and resources, addressing them through targeted training or by recruiting new talent.
Support Squad Objectives:
Be an active participant within Squads, driving progress and supporting Chapter members in their development.
Facilitate learning opportunities and ensure the Chapter remains equipped for future technology trends.
Help define clear goals and foster a culture of innovation and growth within the Chapter.
Model Organizational Transformation:
Lead by example to encourage the organization’s shift toward a new, more collaborative way of working, emphasizing Agile leadership principles.
Cultivate a positive, innovative, and supportive culture within the Chapter.

What You Bring to the Table:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
10-12+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a proven ability to design and deliver scalable and secure applications.

- Data Migration Lead Duration: 14 month contract Job Purpose: Lead the migration to the new AWS data platform, providing both technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise. As the QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of the application and underlying infrastructure (including data pipelines and ML infrastructure) by developing and executing comprehensive test tooling/infrastructure, plans, and test cases. Main Accountabilities: Collaborate with the product owner and development team to understand and feed into product requirements, features, and compliance needs in respect to quality. Develop, in collaboration with the product team and other stakeholders (e.g. compliance, equality, risk), detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategy, plans, and test cases ensuring compliance and quality.
