About the Company: For our client, we are currently seeking a Finance Specialist to join a growing team focused on energy efficiency solutions.
This role will involve working closely with the Head of Sales and Operations, supporting the team in driving commercial and financial activities for equipment maintenance, installation, and long-term service contracts across Belgium and Luxembourg.
About the Role:
As a Finance Specialist, your role will be critical in supporting commercial operations.
You will assist in managing financial aspects related to technical services, collaborating closely with both sales and technical teams to develop comprehensive financial strategies, proposals, and reports.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the financial operations run smoothly, supporting the Head of Sales and Operations with pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of ongoing and potential contracts.
Responsibilities:
Financial Support: Assist in developing and managing the financial aspects of high-voltage service contracts, including pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with the Head of Sales and Operations, ensuring alignment of financial strategy with commercial objectives.
Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and analysis to support decision-making and help track key performance indicators (KPIs) of ongoing projects and contracts.
Proposal Development: Support the development of commercial offers, ensuring that financial data aligns with the technical and operational aspects of the proposal.
Cost Management: Monitor the financial performance of projects and contracts, identifying potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
Client Engagement: Support the preparation and presentation of offers to clients, ensuring that financial terms and conditions are competitive and profitable.
Market Analysis: Provide insights into market trends and competitive pricing to assist the commercial team in maintaining a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in a financial role, ideally within the industrial or technical services sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills in English, French, and/or Dutch to interact effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and commercial proposal support.
Ability to work independently, while also collaborating closely with technical teams and sales professionals.
Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events as needed.
