Job Title: Identity Management Consultant
Location: East London
Rate: £750 - £800 per day INSIDE IR35
Duration: 6 Months
1 Day Per Week On Site
Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Identity Management Consultant to lead and manage key security processes, systems, and frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in identity management, Active Directory migration to Microsoft Entra, privileged account management (PAM), CyberArk, Zero Trust, and JML lifecycle processes. You'll provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and ensure robust risk management and compliance with security best practices and UK regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, delivering pragmatic, cost-effective security solutions to support customer needs.
Own and evolve security processes, systems, and frameworks, with a focus on identity management, including the migration of Active Directory to Microsoft Entra.
Provide expert advice on information security best practices, including Zero Trust and privileged account management (PAM) with tools like CyberArk.
Lead risk and control assessments for third-party suppliers, privacy impact assessments, and project security, with a focus on JML lifecycle and access controls.
Develop and lead security training and awareness programs to ensure organisational engagement.
Manage assurance activities to assess the effectiveness of security systems and controls.
Act as the lead Duty Incident Manager for security incidents, ensuring swift identification and mitigation of risks related to data breaches.
Deputise for the reporting manager in their absence and during periods of increased workload.
Ideal Candidate:
Solid experience in information security, with a focus on identity management and migration (Active Directory to Microsoft Entra).
Expertise in Privileged Account Management (PAM) and CyberArk, with practical experience in Zero Trust and JML lifecycle processes.
Strong experience in risk & control assessments, supplier due diligence, and privacy impact assessments.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while balancing risk management and commercial goals.
Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, collaborative approach to security.
Effective communicator, able to influence decision-making and manage stakeholder relationships.
