SENIOR DATA ANALYST - CONTRACT - 6-MONTHS - TRADING - HYBRID - LONDON

Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their trading team for a 6-month initial contract. This is a contract role, reporting into the Trading Senior Manager, based in London.

Key Requirements
Experience in roles focused on finance, trading, commercial analysis, or FP&A, with a demonstrated ability to deliver insights that drive results.
A deep understanding of performance drivers and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with online retail or similar environments, especially in managing performance funnels and related metrics, is a big advantage.
Advanced SQL skills for querying and analysis.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Confidence working independently on technical tasks without external support.
Proven ability to develop reporting frameworks and insights that directly impact trading decisions.


Key Responsibilities
Own and drive analysis initiatives, uncover trends, and deliver insights that guide key decisions and enhance business performance.
Build and refine reporting tools to monitor trading KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring clarity and precision.
Provide timely, actionable intelligence on critical trading topics to inform strategy and execution.
Partner with trading teams and senior leaders to frame business challenges and deliver impactful analyses.
Use tools like Tableau, Looker, or Google Sheets to craft compelling visuals that support decision-making.
Continuously seek ways to improve analytics tools, methodologies, and workflows for sharper trading insights.
