BUYING ADMIN ASSISTANT

THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, enthusiastic individual to join us at a hugely exciting time for the brand. Playing an active role in the Buying team, collaborating with colleagues and supporting the Buyers you will leverage your skills and previous experience in product development and administration to support the placement of product orders, management of the critical path and maintenance of the sample library.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the department's critical path, working closely with the Buyer to ensure key milestones are met and remain on track.
Raise and maintain purchase orders, ensuring updates and amendments are made throughout the product lifecycle.
Coordinate and manage all sample requirements, including tracking and chasing fit samples, organising storage, and fulfilling sample requests for key business functions such as marketing and web photography.
Ensure timely submission of products for fit meetings, liaising with the technical team and attending sessions as required.
Support the buyer with the approvals process, organising lab dips and bulk submissions in a structured and efficient manner.
Conduct competitor research and market analysis, carrying out comp shops to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and providing insights to the team.
Assist in preparation for key meetings, including sample collation, data entry, and document preparation.
Handle general administrative tasks, such as managing incoming and outgoing post and responding to ad-hoc requests to support the buying team.

THE PERSON
Available to start from mid/late Feb 2025
1+ years’ experience and/or relevant degree qualification is desirable
Approachable with excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel including being comfortable with Excel formulae and pivot tables.
Knowledge of any product development/order management systems
Thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail
