Job Description

The position of Intern, ATP Challenger is for someone with a genuine understanding of professional sports and its inner workings. This position requires passion and dedication, presenting a rare opportunity to work in a truly global sport. The Intern, ATP Challenger will be based in the London (Great Britain) office and report to the Director, ATP Challenger. The duration of the internship is six (6) months, with a start date to be agreed on mutually. Domestic and/or international travel may be required but is not essential as part of this internship. The recruitment process will involve three rounds of interviews and a written assignment.

What you will do:

Work alongside the ATP Challenger team to help execute the circuit strategies.
Support the ATP Challenger team in day-to-day tasks.
Assist with managing the Tennis UNO platform.
Participate in and contribute actively to ATP Challenger calendar meetings.
Prepare the agenda for the ATP Challenger Operations weekly meeting.
Collaborate with the Tour Managers to ensure players complete the tournament evaluation forms.
Assist with website updates, including but not limited to tournament profiles, logos or picture changes, as directed.
Accurately input tournament data in the ATP Challenger database as required.
Work on the development of the ATP Challenger Heritage Programme as required. 
Assist in generating and distributing stream analytics and player survey reports to tournament promoters as required.
Propose new operational efficiency and innovation initiatives to support the ATP Challenger, its players and tournament promoters, including the seamless implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) across our platforms. 
Investigate prospective new opportunities for the ATP Challenger circuit in different areas (marketing, branding, social media, etc.) 
Participate in ATP Challenger workshops and/or in-person meetings as required.
Undertake special projects, assignments and duties as directed by the VP and Director of ATP Challenger.
 
What you will bring:

Passion for sports, deep knowledge of tennis a bonus.
A multicultural mindset as the ATP Challenger’s footprint encompasses 60 countries across 20 time zones and six continents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
Meticulous and detail oriented. 
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Impeccable communication skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
A confident team player with a self-starting attitude and who thrives in a global and partly remote team in a fast-paced environment.

 

The ideal candidate should be discreet, diplomatic, have a hawk-eye for detail and an outstanding ability to think outside the service box, prioritise tasks, and analyse feedback and data. Maintaining a cool head and calm composure in high-stakes environments is essential.
