The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced User Experience & Knowledge Management Analyst to support a major UK Government transformation programme, delivering a cutting‑edge Workday implementation and a single Shared Services model across a cluster of departments.

This is a delivery‑focused contract role, ideal for an established consultant who has worked in Finance or HR Shared Services environments and understands how to enable users through clear, structured, high‑quality guidance during large‑scale ERP change.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring end users can confidently understand policies and complete system transactions using modern digital assistance tools.

What You’ll Deliver

Creation, rationalisation, and maintenance of knowledge management content for Finance and HR Shared Services

Clear, user‑centred guidance to support Workday self‑service transactions

Content for embedded system guidance, knowledge articles, chatbots, and AI‑assisted support tools

Simplification of complex policy and procedural content into end‑user‑friendly materials

Close collaboration with programme teams and system integrators to ensure consistency across the shared services landscape

Alignment of all content with agreed UX standards, programme principles, and delivery timelines

Required Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience within Finance or HR Shared Services

• Strong background in knowledge management, user assistance, or service enablement content

• Previous experience supporting an ERP implementation programme

• Excellent written communication and strong document, spreadsheet, and presentation skills

• Right to work in the UK and UK residency for the past 5 years

Desirable:

• Experience working in the UK Public Sector

• Workday experience

Contract Details

• Outside IR35

• Predominantly remote delivery with some London office attendance

• Long‑term programme engagement on a high‑profile transformation
