Job Description
Are you passionate about data analysis and eager to contribute to strategic decision-making? Join our dynamic Research & Insight Team at Heathrow as a Support Research Reporting Analyst.
The Research & Insight Team guides and inspires the whole business in their decision making through the provision of compelling Research, Insight and strategic data analysis.
The primary purpose of this role is to derive actionable insight from our research data (numeric and text) through undertaking in-depth analysis, interpretation of trends, and reporting on measures included in both Heathrow’s internal & external research programmes to drive our business decision making. Therefore, the role holder will need to be able to demonstrate understanding of analysing data in excel and/or Power BI and keen interest to further develop their analytical skill-set.
Your role will involve
Analyzing and reporting monthly and quarterly data results, including Executive KPIs related to customer research data.
Delivering ongoing and ad-hoc analysis-based projects, developing options for improvement and clear business recommendations.
Synthesizing various data sources (numeric and text) to produce insights and recommendations that enhance Heathrow’s understanding of customer needs and wants through tabular, graphical, and report formats and sharing them throughout the business.
Collaborating with the Research and Insight team and the broader data community to review market data sources and ensure impactful results.
Delivering regular reports to a consistent and high standard within set timescales and consistently identifying opportunities for self-development and process improvements.
These Skills Are Essential
Experience analysing data in Excel.
Proficiency in Power BI.
Strong numerical and logical skills with the ability to communicate data findings clearly and concisely.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Ability to understand data requirements and work well with various personalities and work styles.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience building engaging presentations in PowerPoint.
Experience working with text data and building taxonomies/syntax.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
