This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated to work in a dynamic team and to contribute to our Real Estate Investment Banking business.

The J.P. Morgan UK Real Estate business has a leading position in the sector in terms of number of clients, transaction activity and revenue market share and is looking for an Analyst to join the team. The team covers a large share of the UK listed corporate client base across the entire range of UK Real Estate subsectors as well as a vast array of private / sponsor-held assets.

Our team is responsible for origination and execution of public and private M&A and capital markets transactions involving corporate and financial sponsor clients in the broad UK and EMEA Real Estate sector as well as providing clients with advice more broadly around their corporate strategy with this advice in specific cases provided alongside a corporate broking role which involves extensive interaction with our equity research and equity sales team as well as the C-suite management teams of the client. The team has a network of relationships with some of the most prominent Real Estate companies in the UK.

As an Analyst in the Investment Banking UK Real Estate team, you will be a key player in our business strategy and execution. You will participate in the "full cycle" of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial models and analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations. You will play a leadership role in implementing the execution function including working with other analysts and associates, as well as collaborating closely with senior bankers. You will also have plenty of opportunities to partner with other bankers from the group as well as colleagues from other industry and product teams across EMEA and globally. Job Responsibilities

Project co-ordination, including client communication, co-ordination of advisory team externally and within the bank
Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions
Conduct detailed Real Estate valuation analysis and other financial analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO analysis and transaction structuring
Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in corporate finance transactions or strategic client dialogue
Conduct daily deal execution and project management and take leadership in supporting client coverage by maintaining regular dialogue with clients and potential clients
Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to more junior Analysts and Interns
Liaise with J.P. Morgan product teams and global sector teams along with UK equities and research departments

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Experience in an Investment Bank either in and Industry group and M&A
Proficient financial modelling / valuation / analytical / numeracy skills including Real Estate modelling experience
Ability to react well to pressure whilst multitasking on numerous projects
Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
High level of attention to detail, proactivity and time management
Comfort in and commitment to an inclusive teamwork environment
Ability to comfortably interact with people in a professional and mature manner
Highly organised, detail oriented and proactive
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
