About The Role

As a Machine Learning Application Engineer in the team, you will be involved in Application Development, implementing and fine-tuning LLMs and Transformer Models. Primarily a delivery function, you will work closely with Analysts and Engineers to breathe life into our products.

This is a role for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who works hands-on fine-tuning and deploying LLMs and data models into production within a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain Machine Learning Model pipelines
Train and fine-tune LLMs
Define infrastructure requirements and architecture for Model Training and Inference
Measure and review the performance of production models, performing evaluation and tuning
Work closely as a part of the software development team to deploy models into production

Must-Have Requirements

Have deep, expert level experience with Python development
Established application development experience in Service Oriented Architectures
Experience implementing Transformers (ideally, HuggingFace)
Fine-tuned Transformer Models (ideally with AWS sagemaker but not essential)
Experience deploying models and hosting via an API (AWS is preferred)
Experience writing AWS Lambda functions

Nice-to-Have Requirements

Experience building applications in Langchain
Experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation
Experience working with Vector Databases
