Our Area Operations Director needs to be an inspirational leader. We are the fastest growing group in UK Dentistry, and we need to recruit the best operational leaders to fuel the next phase of our growth. We can offer significant empowerment and autonomy, where you are effectively CEO of your own business area and fully accountable for your own group of dental clinics. We are looking for 2 x Area Operations Directors, one in the North, and the other in the South of England.

About You

You will build relationships effortlessly through your energy and engaging personal style, being capable of inspiring your teams to overachieve through your compelling vision and great leadership. You will be able to evidence significant multi-site leadership experience in similar premium consumer facing businesses, with a complete understanding of the true importance of the highest quality consumer journey. Operators with multi-site dental or related private healthcare experience are of particular interest.

As the role is a field (and home) based role with frequent travel to your clinics, we are open to applications from candidates based in most parts of England who can travel easily and frequently to most parts of the country.

We are looking for a highly commercial and experienced operator who will be energised by this level of autonomy and with the nuanced management style to thrive within our collaborative matrix operating model.

The main purpose of your role is to enable and drive the clinic teams to realise their full potential, optimising EBITDA growth through key drivers including patient satisfaction reflected in industry leading Net Promoter scores. You will also play a lead role in the integration of new practices following acquisition.

You will demonstrate or be:

A strong commercial leader with demonstrable evidence of sustainable EBITDA growth across multi-site platforms
Both strategic and hands on as required
A leader who creates full accountability throughout the clinics and strong local management, inspiring a culture of continued improvement.
Confident and decisive communication skills, able to lead on every front and at all levels from Clinic to Board.
Naturally inquisitive with a proactive approach in anticipating issues, fast to react and get the job done!
A nuanced, collaborative style and the agility to manage your business where every clinic is different and unique, staying true to our hyper local operating model.
A true understanding of the importance of a great patient journey - able to identify opportunities and turn these into results.
Able to influence all stakeholders from local clinic managers, clinicians, and ex-business owners, and across to support managers and subject matter experts.
