About The Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who is eager to level up to a senior role. You’ll be working on ambitious and creative ecommerce projects, marketing websites and digital products, collaborating closely with experience designers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver cutting-edge digital experiences.
At Inviqa, you’ll have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects that involve deep collaboration with our Experience Design team, who specialise in customer research, UX and UI design. Together, you’ll help validate the viability and feasibility of solutions before they go into development, ensuring that the digital products we create are both technically sound and user-centric.
Our clients span industries including food & beverages, hospitality, retail, and sports, and most have partnered with us for over five years. Many of our delivered projects enter a longer-term support and maintenance phase, giving you the chance to work on continuous improvement, performance optimisations, and iterative enhancements post-launch.
What You’ll Do

You’ll get an opportunity to work with modern tech stat and hone your skills in the following areas. You don’t need to be an expert at everything mentioned below, but we’re keen to see where you can align and grow into:
Develop and maintain high-performance frontend applications using frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. React Router experience is a bonus but not essential.
Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) with Next.js to optimise performance and SEO.
Work on headless ecommerce solutions, integrating with Shopify, BigCommerce, and leading headless CMS platforms like Contentstack, Contentful, and Sanity. These are just some examples of a wide range of vendor solutions we work with, but you don’t have to be a pro at all of them. A willingness new solutions is what matters.
Collaborate with the Experience Design team to refine UX/UI solutions, ensuring a seamless connection between design and development.
Manage GitHub version control workflows, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
Contribute to long-term support and maintenance of delivered projects, helping refine and enhance solutions over time.
Occasionally engage in client-facing conversations to clarify requirements, ask questions, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Contribute to internal learning initiatives, mentor junior developers, and help shape engineering communities of practice.
(Optional) Take part in thought leadership activities, such as blogging, speaking at events, or sharing insights within the company.
