Job Title: CONSULTANT MSBI / POWER BI F/H
Job Description: **Job title** Consultant MSBI / Power BI (F/H) **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end BI solution development and maintenance across the Microsoft BI stack, including SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, SSAS cubes, and Azure‑based ETL pipelines. Deliver technical designs, optimize performance, and manage source control and CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless production deployments. **Expectations** * Deliver high‑quality BI artifacts that meet business requirements. * Act as a self‑directed technical specialist, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders. * Maintain clear documentation and uphold coding standards. * Consistently adhere to scheduled release timelines and support post‑deployment issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and upgrade SSRS report packs (v2016+). * Build and evolve Power BI dashboards using Power Query, DAX, and dataflows. * Create and maintain SQL Server relational objects: script design, stored procedures, and views (T‑SQL). * Develop, deploy, and tune SSAS cubes (multidimensional and tabular models). * Author ETL processes in SSIS and Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality and scalability. * Propose and implement performance optimizations across data pipelines and reports. * Author detailed technical specifications and user documentation. * Manage source code in TFS/Git, enforce branching strategies, and orchestrate CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps). * Prepare release artifacts and coordinate production deployments. **Required Skills** * Minimum 5 years in BI development, preferably 8 + years in Power BI, MSBI, and Azure environments. * Strong proficiency in SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (multidimensional & tabular). * Deep knowledge of Azure services relevant to BI: Power BI, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure HDInsight. * Advanced SQL Server / T‑SQL skills, including performance tuning for large data volumes. * Source control expertise in TFS and Git; experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.). * Ability to design, document, and communicate complex technical solutions clearly. * Familiarity with cloud‑native data technologies and data governance best practices. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline with a focus on Business Intelligence or Data Analytics. * Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Power BI Professional are a plus.
